Hi! Happy Saturday! I spent very little of my day being productive, but now I am in full force. I can’t remember the last time I’ve actually shared some of my scrapbooking… A few of these are digital, but all are layouts I’ve done this year. Thanks for stopping by!!!
Wow! I can’t believe I’ve neglected the blog since April. I suck. I’m sorry. =(
A lot went down in ’16. A lot of it wasn’t good. But! It is now 2017 and it is gonna kick can and take names!
So I wish you blessings in the new year, and I’m giving you a cutfile!
This is a cluster I made, along with a single tree and a 2016 so you can make a cute wintery/Christmasy page. Simply click on the photo to open a new window to the dropbox file.
I say Aprilish because mother nature has been a little finicky with us here in Michigan. We had three beautiful, 70-something degree days, and some days where it didn’t get above freezing. I was really hoping for a beautiful spring day today, but the forecast only calls for a high of 57. Bummer. Oh well, I keep hearing that we are going to go from cold to hot, so I will stick out the cold stint. At least the trees are blooming.
I have two little videos on my youtube channel if you’d like to check those out, they’re just haul videos. I want to work on some process videos, but first I need to get some sort of space worked out. I was thinking about buying a little tripod for my phone, it is just easier to use my phone instead of my camera, as silly as that sounds.
I have a new cutfile for you today! (click on the pic to go to my dropbox)
It was inspired by this video from the Crafty Maven Getaway Channel. I was really excited by the pyramid of hearts in both her layout and the layout she was scraplifting. So thank you, Evi, if you happen to see this!
I personally have a silhouette portrait at home, but I thought this would be more usable on a cameo mat. If you aren’t comfortable changing the cutfile yourself for a portrait mat, let me know and I can make one for the portrait and upload it.
Thanks for stopping by! Adios!
Hey gang! Happy Easter! HE IS RISEN!
Today is just going to kind of be some of the thoughts banging around in my head.
A few weeks ago I spilled the blue mountain dew (I think it tastes like the blue part or a rocket pop) on my keyboard and the only key that is sticking- the A!!!!!! Of all the keys on a keyboard, why the a?! lol
I have a youtube video posted! It is short and not very good, but I did a Tuesday Morning haul video. My Tuesday Morning is kind of devoid of craft supplies compared to what I see others score, but I was happy to get some scrappy love. If you’d like to check it out, click here. It kind of makes me laugh, I have no likes and one dislike. Gee, thanks. lol
Finally, I was thinking about why I scrapbook vs. why others scrapbook. I feel like there are two main reasons people scrapbook. You either take lots of pictures that you want to remember in a pretty way, or you are scrapbooking because the muse tells you to, and you just so happen to place pictures on a layout. I am in that second place, I really don’t take photos for memory keeping. I am trying to change that and did start my first project life album, but I am only giving myself a goal of once a month for that album.
Okay, I might have had more to say, but I am sick of erasing all the unwanted aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas. LOL
Hiya! I have a new cutfile for you today! I made one of the viewmaster discs. Enjoy!
So I may or may not be going tag crazy… =)
Over the next week or so I will be adding a lot of die cut tags. There are already a few available, and if you feel you would like a different size or color, or even a shape I don’t offer yet, please let me know through etsy’s message system. (You can get with me many, many other ways, but that will be the easiest to keep track of)
I also got my glittery little hands on some discounted washi tape that I wanted to pass along! Right now you can purchase a set of two washi tapes for $5 and free shipping! Pick from 4 designs… http://www.etsy.com/listing/126893190
Happy New Year! How did everyone spend their last night of ’12?
I spent it without my husband, but my best friends, and it was fantastic!
Not everyone got Christmas cards, so I made some new year cards. This involved a photo and Happy New Year printed on card stock, spray adhesive, and glitter! The flower up in the corner is recycled newspaper and the chipboard numbers are from BasicGrey’s Fact & Fiction line. The background behind Happy New Year is glitter I found and copied and pasted til it made an entire background =)
I pray that 2013 shows you blessings beyond your wildest dreams, and you go for the gold in whatever you undertake!
